Christian Leadership Training is a Cho-Yeh program intentionally designed to develop the leadership skills and deepen the faith of our 16 and 17 year-old campers. Through physical challenge and adventure, CLT students will encounter Christ in a new way while exploring, developing and applying valuable leadership skills.
CLT consists of time at Camp Cho-Yeh and Camp Eagle. Campers will stay at Cho-Yeh until Tuesday and then leave for Camp Eagle. During this amazing experience, campers will backpack through the Texas Hill Country with Cho-Yeh staff and trained Eagle Quest guides, rock climb cliffs more than 50 feet tall, and swim in the crystal clear Nueces River. For many, it is the first time to experience anything like this. There are ropes elements unlike anything else, breathtaking views, unexpected challenges, and memories created that will last a lifetime.
Once a camper completes CLT, he or she is no longer eligible to return to Cho-Yeh as a camper. At 17 years of age, campers may apply for a Cho-Yeh Work Crew position. At 18 years of age, individuals may apply for a Senior Counselor position.
