Providing incredible camp food to our campers and staff is an integral part of the ministry at Cho-Yeh! As part of the Kitchen Krew at Camp Cho-Yeh you will work together to serve as the hands of Christ in our kitchen. As a team, you will work together to make our dining hall a well-oiled machine that servers three delicious meals a day for as many as 500 people. Your walk with Christ will also be challenged as you build relationships with your K-Krew-mates and engage in Christ-like community and Bible study.
You will work closely with our Food Service Director and our Kitchen Bosses to make sure all jobs in the kitchen are done with excellence and care. This includes, but is not limited to: preparing food, cooking, baking, serving campers, washing dishes, cleaning up, etc.
Don’t worry though, tons of cooking experience is not a requirement. However, a cheerful heart, a willingness to have fun, an openness to learn and an authentic faith in Jesus Christ are musts! If you have a heart to glorify Christ through behind-the-scenes service and a desire to grow in your personal walk with the Lord, then being part of the Cho-Yeh Kitchen Krew is a perfect fit for you.
