K'aana Kamper Scholarship

The following information explains the process to apply for a Kamper Scholarship at Kamp K'aana.

Partial or full scholarships are granted to camper families based on financial need. Awards are made by the Scholarship Committee and are not the responsibility of the Kamp K'aana staff. Please read all information carefully and follow each step accordingly.

Step One:

Complete a camper application online with $100 registration fee included. Make sure you check the box that says "Please send me a scholarship application." You will receive an e-mail confirmation of your registration within one week.  Scholarships will not be considered without the $100 deposit.

Step Two:

You will receive a scholarship application in the mail.  Complete the application, which will include contact information and a 1 page essay, hand written by the child, stating why he or she wants to attend Kamp K'aana.

All applications must be postmarked by June 10, 2011

Step Four:

Decisions about scholarship awards will be made in late June.   Confirmation letters regarding the scholarship award will be mailed out after the Scholarship Committee meets. If you are awarded a partial scholarship, the remaining balance of camp fees will be due two weeks prior to Kamp attendance. If not awarded enough scholarship support, the $100 deposit will be refunded to you.
