2012 Counseling Staff Dates:
First Term: Saturday, June 2 - Saturday, July 14 (6 wks)
Second Term: Saturday, June 30 - Sunday, August 12 (6 wks)
Lifer: Saturday, June 2- Sunday, August 12 (10 wks)
Lifer's must take week 5 or 6 off
Mandatory Staff Training:
1st Year Counselors: Sunday, May 21 - Saturday, June 2
Returning Staff: Thursday, May 24 - Saturday, June 2
*All counseling staff are required to be certified as either a lifeguard or ropes course facilitator. Cho-Yeh will provide this training during the first week of staff training. Exceptions are made for graduating high school students who will be unable to attend certification week.
Recertification:
May 24th beginning at 8:00am.
*For those who are certified lifeguards or rope course facilitators and simply need to be recertified.
PayBase Pay: $160/week plus room & board
Additional $10/week for each year of experience on staff at Cho-Yeh
Additional $10/week for activity head positions
Lifer's receive a $250 bonus at the end of summer
