Firmly Rooted and Growing in Christ
At Camp Cho-Yeh, campers embark on a transformative journey that grows with them throughout the years. Starting with making friends and building foundational Christian values in their early years, they progress to taking on leadership roles, deepening their faith, and eventually becoming mentors themselves. This full-circle experience, from camper to counselor, emphasizes personal growth, faith, and the importance of community and mentorship.
Camper Safety
Your camper’s safety is our top priority here at Cho-Yeh. We work within the standards set by the American Camp Association to make sure our safety standards and practices are the best that they can be.
The Real MVPs
Our counselors serve as the hands and feet of Jesus as they connect with our campers on a personal level, seeking to come alongside them and meet them where they are in their faith. These young men and women are excellent role models who are examples of living out authentic faith.
Meet Our Camp Moms
“My passion for Cho-Yeh comes from the impact I have seen this camp have on my son's life. I love being a Camp Advocate because it lets me share this passion with families in my area, and hopefully these families' lives will be impacted and changed by Cho-Yeh as ours has."
“I love serving God through the ministry done here at Camp Cho-Yeh. It’s a blessing and privilege to connect with new and established families and share my family’s personal experiences to help guide and support their own journey of camp.”
“I am passionate about being a Camp Advocate because I deeply cherish the opportunity to share both the practical and emotional aspects with parents - especially those embarking on this journey for the first time. I distinctly recall the mix of excitement and worry when sending my 6-year-old off to camp, grappling with the concerns about meals, what to pack, how to pack it and the waiting by the phone for pictures to post as proof of life! LOL I empathize with these worries, and I find immense joy in reassuring parents that it will be alright, and I'm here to address their questions, if only for a brief moment of ease and reassurance!”
