More Lives, More Deeply

Camp Cho-Yeh Capital Campaign

We are thankful for all who partner with Camp Cho-Yeh in ministry. There are many ways that you can be a part of the Cho-Yeh family! When you pray, serve, and/or donate, you are impacting the lives of young men and women, helping to build the next generation of Christian leaders.

Our mission is to be a place where Jesus Christ transforms lives through meaningful relationships and outdoor adventures. Together we are building leaders as we are cultivating faith, nurturing community, and forging character in the next generation.

A New Vision

Camp Cho-Yeh is a camp and conference center nestled in the serene piney woods of East Texas, just an hour’s drive from Houston and near stunning Lake Livingston.

Building a new Jr. High and High School Camp on our existing property allows us to impact more lives, more deeply.  We believe that camp experience is a powerful tool in shaping the lives of young people and that more kids need the opportunity to unplug and be mentored by high-caliber college students. It is our ambition to build the next generation of Christian leaders who possess a rich and vibrant faith grounded in Biblical truth.  Because Cho-Yeh campers are challenged to grow in integrity, grit, perseverance, and self-confidence, they become change agents in their neighborhoods, churches, and schools, for years to come.

The expansion allows us to double the number of campers and guests without diluting the impact we currently have in a smaller, more intimate setting.  When the project is complete, we will have the capacity to serve 9,500 summer campers and 34,000 retreat guests annually.  Future operating surplus will fund the construction of Family Camp on Lake Livingston.
