Over 800 acres provide the perfect environment for your next retreat. Cho-Yeh’s facilities are known for our cleanliness and flexibility. Our facilities are the perfect mix of rustic style paired with modern technology and amenities and have been the home of groups big and small for over 75 years.

Our cabins feature spacious front porches, central heating and cooling and interior bathrooms. They can typically sleep up to 12-20 people in bunk beds and are in clusters of 3-5 per campsite. Each site has its own campfire circle and is far enough away from other cabins to feel secluded, but close enough for large groups to be able to use multiple campsites easily. 

Two of our cabins, Sweetgum 4 and Cedar 2, are ADA accessible. Request an ADA accessible cabin during your booking process.

Cypress Yurts

Our Yurts offer a fun twist on the traditional cabin concept. Originally adapted from temporary shelters used by nomadic peoples of Central Asia, Yurts feature a vaulted interior capped with a skylight that peers up to the canopy of neighboring pine trees. They have their own interior bathrooms, are air conditioned and heated, and can sleep up to 14 people in bunkbeds. Our Yurts are nestled on the shore of Cypress Lake in the heart of the camp.

Walnut Treehouse Cabins

Our Walnut Hill Treehouse Cabins give you the classic camp experience in the Walnut Hill region of camp. Treehouses offer a central bunkroom and spacious porches with a tree-canopied view. Treehouses can sleep up to 12 people in bunk beds, and are equipped with heating and cooling. Treehouses are situated in adjacent pairs which share a single bathhouse.

The Pines Lodge

The Pines Lodge is located on the north side of our property. It is available for groups year-round and features easy access to meeting spaces, dining facilities, recreation areas and parking. The Lodge is dormitory style with bunk beds and one queen sized bed to be used by couples or families. This is one of our most versatile facilities serving all age groups, day use groups and banquets.

The Cottage

Group leader housing is available for use by our guest groups during their events, either for the group leader or a special guest or speaker. Under these circumstances, the space is charged at the same rate as our Cabins. The Cottage is a beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath home located in The Ridge section of camp. It features a spacious living room, full kitchen, scenic back deck, covered front porch (complete with rocking chairs and ceiling fans), and beautifully decorated bedrooms. Group leader housing units are available for personal retreat stays for those in full-time ministry when the space is not booked with a retreat group.

Loblolly Meeting Hall

Perched above the eastern shore of Lake Evelyn, Loblolly Meeting Hall is our largest indoor meeting space, accommodating 400 people in various seating configurations. The Main Loblolly room is equipped with a full sound system, a ceiling mounted projector, stage lighting, and an elevated stage. A hospitality bar in the back of the room is perfect for setting up coffee and snacks. Bathrooms are located in the main entrance hallway.

Adjacent to the Main Room are two smaller breakout rooms, ideal for 25 people or fewer. Loblolly C Meeting Room, ideal for 100 people or fewer, has a separate entrance from the Main Room and is accessed by the back porch.

Magnolia Cabin Meeting Hall

Each of the rooms in Magnolia Cabin open into the central Magnolia Meeting Hall, which is equipped with a hospitality counter and restrooms separate from the cabin restrooms. Magnolia Meeting Hall has a variable seating configuration of up to 200 and is ideal for large groups desiring close proximity to sleeping and meeting space. Activity Road links Magnolia to nearby cabins and is a short walk from dining and activities.

Oak Ridge Meeting Hall

Oak Ridge Meeting Hall offers a variety of rooms designed with retreat groups in mind. Located in close proximity to both the Oak Ridge and Hickory Ridge Cottages, the Oak Ridge Meeting facilities are accessed separately and open into a common hallway with restrooms and a hospitality station. Oak Ridge A can accommodate up to 200 people with two A/V configurations and variable seating arrangements. Oak Ridge B is ideal for groups of 50 or fewer, Oak Ridge C is ideal for 30 or fewer, and both can accommodate several seating arrangements.

Sweetgum Meeting Hall

The Sweetgum Meeting Hall feels spacious with a high, dark ceiling. The raised stage platform with the chimney behind serves as the focal point for a variety of seating configurations.

Hickory Ridge Meeting Hall

Once a dining hall, Hickory Ridge Meeting Hall is one of several historical camp structures with a woodsy, vintage camp charm. The November 2017 renovation added updated restrooms and roofing, as well a large covered porch, ensuring that Hickory Ridge continues to be a favorite gathering place. Tucked just behind the opening element of the High Ropes Adventure Park, Hickory Ridge Meeting Hall is in close proximity to the Hickory Ridge, Oak Ridge, and Loblolly Cabins, and not too far from the Yurts and Walnut Hill Treehouse Cabins. It features variable seating configurations and A/V setups for up to 80 people, two large walls of windows, several couches, as well as ping-pong, pool, and foosball tables.

Walnut Hill Meeting Hall

Nestled in the scenic forests of the Walnut Hill region, Walnut Hill Meeting Hall offers seating for around 100 occupants, multiple A/V configurations, and high-speed internet. A short walk from the rustic Walnut Hill cabins, this meeting hall is great for small to medium groups and breakout sessions!

Pines Lodge Meeting Hall

The Pines Lodge is a separate portion of camp, and includes The Pines Lodge, the Pines Lodge Meeting Facilities, and the Pine Room Dining Facility. Meeting Rooms 1 and 2 are mirror images of each other and are ideal for 40 people or fewer; Meeting Room 3 is the largest space and is ideal for up to 80 people. All three meeting rooms feature a restroom and a hospitality counter, and can be configured for variable seating and A/V setups. An outdoor gazebo on the back porch provides a great breakout spot. The Pines Lodge is convenient to parking and lovely outdoor spaces.

Meeting Halls

 Cho-Yeh is the perfect place for groups of all sizes, offering meeting halls that can accommodate from 50 to 500 people. We include everything you need, from chairs and tables, to projection and amplified sound. Ready to bring your own large-scale production? We’ve had some of the largest groups in Texas… and it doesn’t stress us out!

Outdoor Gathering Areas

Gather your group around a campfire and enjoy s’mores at any of our beautiful outdoor gathering areas. From small campfire circles to a stadium style outdoor amphitheater, Cho-Yeh has plenty of options for you to get your group together outside.

Cypress Grove Amphitheater

The Cypress Grove Amphitheater can seat up to 400 comfortably in stadium-style wood bench seating and can be configured for A/V set ups. Cypress Lake rests just beyond the raised platform and fire pit, making Cypress Grove Amphitheater the perfect spot to catch a beautiful sunset over the water.

Outdoor Chapel

The Outdoor Chapel features a stone stage with cross and bench seating for up to 200 people. The space can be configured for A/V and can be illuminated at night. Close proximity to Magnolia, Sweetgum, and Cedar Cottages makes the Outdoor Chapel an ideal space for outdoor worship services.

Prayer Platforms

Tucked in a grove of pines or overlooking Cypress Lake, Prayer Platforms are scattered throughout the Hill region and are ideal for small group breakouts or individual prayer and reflection. Each platform can comfortably seat up to 20 people.
