How Camp Cho-Yeh Impacts Your 1st-3rd Grader

Cho-Yeh’s youngest campers will learn foundational truths about Gods’ goodness, faithfulness, and love.  They are challenged to take responsibility for their own actions and taught the importance of showing kindness to others.

Cho-Yeh’s youngest campers realize they can survive – even thrive – away from home as they develop the ability to push through difficult situations.

The following desired outcomes were created with the help of a child development expert, keeping the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual maturity of this age group in mind.

Cultivating Faith

Teaching Campers to have the Head, Heart and Hands Of Jesus

Story

Campers will learn the foundational truths woven throughout the grand narrative of God’s story.

Practices

Campers will participate in, and learn, core (personal and corporate) spiritual practices that assist in understanding God’s story.

Theology

Campers will learn the fundamental truths that God is good and God keeps promises.

Campers will learn the importance of making agreements with other people, and how to take responsibility for their actions.
