Corey Waters has been bringing his school group, Cornerstone Christian Academy, to Cho-Yeh for the past 7 years for their annual retreat. The time that his group spends at Cho-Yeh sets the pace for the rest of their school year. Students get the opportunity to hang out with their teachers in a different environment; one where they get to laugh and play together and form lasting friendships in the process. Cho-Yeh provides unique experiences for his students, such as the mud pit, which gives opportunities for growth and shared experiences as they head into their school year.
Corey initially picked Cho-Yeh because of the facilities and proximity to Houston. The facilities have continued to expand and according to Corey the people at Cho-Yeh continually go above and beyond in their customer service. There are a lot of location options within the greater Houston area to have a retreat but the thing that keeps bringing him back to Cho-Yeh is the people. The personal attention that the staff provides is exceptional and as he says “Amy remembered a prayer request for my daughter from a year ago. That means it was important for her to pray for my girl and to follow up, you do not find that everywhere!”
