Summer 2020 Reboot Announced

Much has changed since our decision to suspend operations back in March!   State & local health officials have given camps permission to operate and both the American Camp Association & the Governor’s Strike Force have provided guidance and protocols on how to operate a residential summer camp in the midst of the pandemic.  The health and safety of our campers has always been  – and will continue to be – a top priority at Camp Cho-Yeh.

Though Summer Camp 2020 will look different than years past, we are excited about the opportunity to have our campers back on property this summer.

Modified Summer Program:

Beginning on Sunday, July 5th, Cho-Yeh will be running 5 one-week sessions of summer camp.   Sessions will run from Sunday afternoon to Friday evening – giving our staff plenty of time to clean & sanitize camp fully between sessions.

Session 1:  July 5 – 10

Session 2:  July 12 – 17

Session 3:  July 19 – 24

Session 4:  July 26 – 31

Session 5:  August 2 – 7

Price for all sessions will be $1025.  More details on the modifications to our program will be posted on our website by Wednesday, May 27th.

Tiered Registration Schedule:

Due to limited capacity and high demand, we expect sessions to fill very quickly.  We will be opening registration up in stages:

Monday, June 1st @ 12:00 pm (Noon):  Registration opens for families who were previously registered for Summer 2020.

Tuesday, June 2nd @ 9:00 am:  Registration will open for returning campers and new families if space is still available.

For more information about our modified plan for summer 2020, please visit our website.

We understand that not everyone will feel comfortable coming this summer and that every family is navigating the new normal at their own pace.  At the same time, we understand the great pressure many households are feeling to disciple their kids and help them process this time of change. Now, more than ever, we have a passion for coming alongside families to build the next generation of Christian leaders.

Please continue to pray for our Leadership Team, Program Team, and Board of Directors as we seek the Lord for wisdom moving forward.

With you, for Him,
