This capstone experience allows our oldest campers to pursue outdoor adventure, overcome physical challenges, and develop a personal understanding of the Gospel. This 2-week program is an unforgettable experience that campers won't want to miss out on.
CLT Campers will arrive at Camp Cho-Yeh alongside the rest of our resident campers. While at Cho-Yeh, they’ll get to do some of their favorite parts of camp (A/O, Flex Time, Activities, etc.) while getting to try out things exclusive to CLT. One of the main experiences that makes CLT so special is getting to head to Camp Eagle for a week of high adventure and incredible bonding in the Texas Hill Country. The trip that they get to embark on will challenge them in new ways as they lean into each other and the Lord. Our goal is for the CLT experience to be something that campers remember for a lifetime, and brings their time as a camper to a grand finale.
After kicking things off at Camp Cho-Yeh, we’ll hop on a flight to Denver & catch a ride to Buena Vista, Colorado. Working with our trusted partners at Noah’s Ark, we’ll spend 7 days exploring the incredible wilderness of the Rocky Mountain National Forest. We’ll spend a day rock climbing, a day of whitewater rafting & 5 days conquering some amazing fourteeners! This trip is a great combination of amazing adventure, tremendous scenery & fun challenges.
After spending two days at Camp Cho-Yeh, we’ll load up the bus and head over to Camp Eagle on the headwater of the Nueces River! We’ll climb 50-foot rock faces, zip down a massive zipline, and take a swim in the crystal waters of the Nueces River! Spend your nights under the starry skies of Texas as your stamina is tested, your faith is challenged, and you develop deeper friendships than ever before.
This land & river combo is a once-in-a-lifetime, epic adventure that combines the best adventures on land & some amazing scenery on the water! This trip includes 3 days of hiking the rugged Hill Country at Camp Eagle and 3 days kayaking the pristine waters of the Pecos River. You’ll have to battle the elements, paddle hard, and rely on your group as you swim, climb, and cliff jump your way through some of the best waters Texas has to offer.
With check-in on a Friday morning, this new 8 day adventure kicks off at Camp Cho-Yeh for 2 days before we head up to the Buffalo River in Arkansas. We’ll spend 4 days paddling some of the most scenic stretches of the Buffalo River as it meanders through the Ouachita National Forest. We’ll spend our nights under the starry skies along the river bank.
