You can also earn 100 hours of community service to use on your college applications and scholarships!

Perseverance. Grit. Service. Joy.

Work Crew is a unique and life-changing experience for those looking to give back, grow, and find their purpose. It’s an honest opportunity to invest in your future while creating cherished memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.
"My time on work crew was phenomenal. I made so many impactful relationships and I learned the fundamentals of hard work. As a camper, I often overlooked the work that went into the fun I had, but work crew allowed me to see the hard work and commitment that goes on behind the scenes. I can appreciate how important and rewarding it is to serve others; standing in the crud pit for hours is undoubtedly worth all the joy it brought to the campers. These two weeks changed my drive for everything: I learned that beneath each difficult time is a learning opportunity, I just needed to change my perspective to find it. I am forever grateful for this experience and look forward to returning as a counselor this summer."

What Will I Be Doing On the Work Crew?

Cultivating Faith

Cultivating Faith

You will critically evaluate and develop ownership of your faith as you learn, discuss, and explore your theology, digging into the question of ‘how’ to live out a Christian faith in God-honoring ways.

Nurturing Community

Nurturing Community

You will learn conflict resolution skills and understand how to interpret the actions of others in the best possible light. An emphasis will be placed on teamwork and service, with a focus on discovering that servant leadership involves setting examples for others through giving of oneself. It is not about directing others or telling them what to do, but rather considering how best to serve one another.

Forging Character

Forging Character

You will develop the ability to be creative, joyful, and optimistic in the midst of difficulties or unexpected circumstances. You’ll gain a strong work ethic as you learn how to follow through with commitments and persevere through discomfort.

Camp Life

This community becomes a haven for deepening connections. Living side by side, you’ll navigate the joys and challenges of camp life together, forging bonds that go beyond fleeting summer friendships. Through shared experiences, late-night conversations, and mutual support, you’ll discover the richness of diverse perspectives and the value of genuine camaraderie.
